About the MISA Bursary Programme 2026

The MISA Bursary Programme 2026 is an initiative by the Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA). The programme aims to address scarce skills in the municipal infrastructure sector by supporting students in critical built environment fields.

    • Civil Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Project and Construction Management
    • Urban and Regional Planning
    • Environmental Management

By investing in these fields, MISA helps strengthen South Africa’s infrastructure development while creating career opportunities for young professionals.

This bursary matters because it reduces financial pressure on families and allows students to focus fully on their academic success.
