    What You’ll Do

    As a YES Youth at Eskom, you will be immersed in a supportive, professional environment where you will develop essential workplace skills. Your focus will be on:

    • Work readiness: Understanding corporate culture, communication, and time management.
    • Professional conduct: Building a strong work ethic, accountability, and teamwork skills.
    • Practical problem-solving: Applying your knowledge and learning new skills within the Retail (Distribution) department’s structured setting.

    Who Can Apply

    To be eligible for this programme, you must meet all of the following criteria:

    • Be a South African citizen.
    • Be aged between 18 and 34.
    • Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent, and/or a post-matric certificate.
    • Not be employed permanently with a single employer for more than 12 months.
    • Not be studying full-time during the 2026 year of employment.
    • Have no prior participation in any YES initiative.
