    Absa is inviting applications for its Full-Time Banking Training Programme, designed to equip young professionals with the technical expertise and workplace experience needed to thrive in the financial services industry.     Junior Learnership Programme

    The Absa Junior Learnership is a structured, full-time training programme that combines theoretical coursework with on-the-job practical experience. Successful candidates will be immersed in the culture of Absa, gaining exposure to the inner workings of a major banking institution.

    Who Should Apply

    Absa is looking for dynamic, driven, and ambitious individuals who are ready to commit to their professional development. To be considered for the 2026 intake, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

    • Educational Background: Hold a GET Certificate in Business, Commerce and Management Studies.
    • Qualification Level: Have a completed Degree or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 6 or 7.
    • Citizenship: Be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
    • Technical Skills: Possess basic computer literacy (MS Office proficiency is essential).
    • Personal Attributes: Be self-motivated, eager to learn, and demonstrate a strong willingness to grow within a corporate environment.

    Documents Required

    To ensure your application is processed without delays, please prepare the following documents before you begin your application. Please note that all copies must be certified (certified within the last 3 months):

    1. A detailed CV with up-to-date contact information and professional references.
    2. Certified copies of your certificates (Matric/Grade 12 and tertiary qualifications).
    3. Certified copy of your South African ID document.
    4. Certified proof of address (not older than 3 months).
