    This comprehensive 12-month programme is designed to bridge the gap between technical expertise and people management, equipping participants with the skills needed to lead teams, manage workflows, and contribute meaningfully to organisational success.     About the Learnership: Motus Generic Management

    Motus, in partnership with Kia South Africa, is offering a NQF Level 4 Learnership in Generic Management for the 2026 intake. This learnership is tailored specifically for existing employees who have demonstrated potential and wish to formalise their management capabilities through a nationally recognised qualification.

    Unlike external recruitment programmes, this initiative focuses on upskilling current staff members, reinforcing Motus’s commitment to internal talent development and career progression. Participants will remain in their permanent roles while engaging in structured training and workplace application, ensuring that learning translates directly into improved performance on the job.

    Key Learning in the Programme

    Throughout the 12-month learnership, successful candidates will engage in a blended learning approach combining theoretical instruction with hands-on workplace application. Key components include:

    • Take part in structured theoretical training sessions
      Attend facilitator-led workshops covering core management principles, including leadership styles, team dynamics, business operations, and ethical decision-making.
    • Apply learning through practical workplace assignments
      Translate classroom knowledge into action by completing real-world tasks that address actual business challenges within your department.
    • Develop foundational management and supervisory competencies
      Build confidence in delegating tasks, motivating team members, managing conflict, and monitoring performance—skills essential for first-time supervisors.
    • Complete workplace-based assessments and a portfolio of evidence
      Demonstrate competence through a collection of work samples, reflective reports, and signed-off workplace activities that showcase your growth.
    • Demonstrate effective communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
      Hone your ability to convey information clearly, prioritise workloads, and analyse operational problems to implement practical solutions.

    Entry Requirements

    The Motus Generic Management Learnership is highly targeted. To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

    • Be a South African citizen currently residing in Gauteng
    • Be between the ages of 18 and 45
    • Have a minimum of Grade 11 or Matric with passes in English
    • Be permanently employed at Kia South Africa (Pty) Ltd for more than one year at the time of application
    • Possess basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, email)
    • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to learning and self-development
    • Be willing and able to commit to the full 12-month duration of the learnership
